Seasons 20 and 21 are
now available for pre-order from Amazon. Here are the always much-awaited DVD covers and the Amazon descriptions:
Eleven teams race over 36,000 miles across 22 cities and five continents in the 20th installment of THE AMAZING RACE. “Big Brother” contestant alums Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly, a pair of United States Border Patrol agents, married couple and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey clowns, a set of twins, and seven other duos sprint across the globe for a chance to win $1,000,000.
Facing physical and mental challenges combined with the pressure of fierce competition, the teams find themselves skydiving in Argentina, training with Maasai warriors in Tanzania, racing through Africa's "Garden of Eden" and searching through King Ludwig II's quarters in the German castle that was the inspiration for "Sleeping Beauty.” The teams experienced some tasty tests as they played Sushi Bingo in Japan, and Name that Salami in Italy.
At the end of the worldwide trek, which included first-time visits to Paraguay and Azerbaijan, the winning team also claimed the record for winning the most legs in a single season. To find out which team succeeded and made history, watch THE AMAZING RACE Season 20 on DVD!
The stakes are raised in the 21st season of Emmy-award winning THE AMAZING RACE as 11 teams cruise around the globe competing for a chance to win potentially the largest prize ever: $2 million. Among those racing across three continents and nine countries, logging in approximately 25,000 miles, are “Twinnies” (and future “Survivor” castaways), a duo from Chippendales, married Monster Truckers, a rock star, and a 2014 Paralympic bronze medalist and “dancing” star, Amy Purdy.
The race kicks off with a 10-story rappel in Los Angeles, and as the Race continues, the teams find themselves frying an egg on their heads in Indonesia, working as 'rat collectors' in Bangladesh and revisiting one of the Race's most infamous Roadblocks in the Netherlands in this season's Switchback. THE AMAZING RACE season 21 also crosses through China, Turkey, Russia, Spain and France.
The season also features the series' first-ever Blind Double U-Turn, where two teams could U-Turn another team, and whichever team used the U-Turn could remain anonymous, plus the "Double Your Money" prize, upping the ante for the team who won the first leg. Find out if the $2 million jackpot was awarded in THE AMAZING RACE Season 21 on DVD!
