TAR ISRAEL 5 SHOW Discussion *spoilers*

<< < (23/35) > >>

G.B.:
>Fly to Hanoi, Vietnam
>Hanoi Opera House
Stand on the roof and watch the busy traffic roundabout, looking for seven numbers on vehicles and people. Then go to a motorcycle parking lot nearby and find one of a few license plates that have those seven numbers.
(Ben & Ori jump into a taxi, when it's only like a block away. Their driver takes them on an unwitting tour of Hanoi before dropping them back off at the Opera House)
  U-TURN VOTE (J&A)
>Hoan Kiem Lake
  DETOUR
Slow: Perform Tai Chi for 30 straight minutes.
Fast: Perform cardio aerobics for 30 straight minutes.
  U-TURN REVEAL
>Truc Bach Lake Marina
Ride in a swan boat and take a break from the race for X minutes, enjoying some fresh fruit.
>School next door ("Hau Hoc Van"?)
FACE OFF: Vietnamese sport that probably has a name, I just don't know it. Two sit on a thin pole and balance there, while hitting each other with padded sacks trying to knock the other off. 2 team member from each team fight, then the other two fight. If there's a tie, then any team member can fight in the tie breaker.
Josie & Alex last place, 15-minute penalty.

I gotta say, I am really getting tired of these "Take a break from the race" tasks, especially when there's more than one per season. Especially considering we just had the "call from home" episode during the last leg, AND a recap episode before this one.

@BourkieBoy: All episodes of TAR Israel have Hebrew subtitles. The best way to watch is to just watch, and then pause if there's something you REALLY need to understand, then translate those subtitles. The team intros during episode 1 are exceptionally long. The race gets going after they're done.

Also, asking this once again, please please please be considerate and place future locations in spoiler tags. I really hate having to carefully scroll through the posts and hide my eyes in a panic.

Us here usually called that task as "pillow war", it also exist here though (in Indonesia), but last time I saw it was the Independence Day for fun competition or something between people and/or neighborhood. :)

Maanca:
Not really surprised by who got eliminated this time. It was about their time to go.

BourkieBoy:
Do we know when the next LEG airs?  ???

G.B.:
Sad to see them go, but it did seem like they were running out of steam anyway.
