I haven't watched UK version yet but will the teams record themselves? Because if there is cameraman with the teams, there are more chance for them to be caught?

I saw the first 2 seasons and it's a sole cameraman who also hides with them. The cameraman is as part of the game as the fugitives are.

Surely a cameraman. It would be bad quality if the contestants filmed it.
