Jobby:
And oh, would have loved for TMZ to move on and bottomgod throughout, but seriously... won't miss them going home. Karma bites. )-**

elthemagnifico:
mine about 27th premiere
(+)
- diverse and lovable casts <333 even #TMZteam's elimination is awful because they could give us some great entertainment if they weren't eliminated
- detour task <33 skill vs brain... but foot volley task reminds me of TAR2...
-Alex/Adam did detour <333 thrilling me when I doubted they had made right choice. ..
-EP twist and fifth leg limitation
-quick-pace race...
-Brazil and Rio <333
-Justin breakdown...

(-)
-editing is like... ok let's move on
-where was the usual introduction when phil was introduced the racer... it's just like something missing
-lack of task... only the detour task like it's kinda short leg too bad
-yay for FF in first leg but nay for useless FF task (remind me of Austria's FF in 23)

TARUSAFan:
So I just watched the episode and here are my thoughts

The Goods

> The cast. Casting did a really great job. I cannot fault it. Really diverse group   :cheer:

> Tanner & Josh winning. Hoping the EP will be given to Tiffany & Krista. I could tell they will have an alliance.   :yess:

> Even more HD   :yess:

The Bads

> No proper team introductions. Like Season 26. Looking back at Season 25, teams were introduced properly with Phil saying "Adam & Bethany" Married Surfers from...... then "Amy & Maya, Food Scientists from..... and so on.   (:;)

> 60 minutes is not enough, very fast paced. It would be better if it was a 90-minute premiere. It would get the viewers to take in and get to know more about the teams, the tasks and Rio De Janeiro.  :gaah:

> Leg felt kinda short. It would have been better to have both a Roadblock and a Detour in the 1st leg.  :gaah:

> Phil not introducing team placements.  :gaah:

> FF in the 1st leg with an EP up for grabs. The EP is a powerful prize that should be just given out easily

> Elaborating much on Justin & Diana's FF downfall.

> Kelly & Shevonne eliminated. It would have been better if they stayed longer. They may have flopped in the challenges in the 1st leg, but who knows, they could move up in the 2nd leg. There should be a 1st leg NEL. If 1st leg was NEL what would the outcomes be? Looking back at previous seasons, what if Jeff & Lyda, Lisa & Michelle, Misa & Maiya were saved?   :'(

>I would rather see the team's relationship rather than the hashtags on screen.

Ex.

Tanner & Josh       Or     Tanner & Josh                                Not                  Tanner & Josh
Best Friends                   Best Friends - #TeamTexas                                    #Team Texas

~ Hoping the next episodes will be better. Still I love the season.

NMC:
All going well, I'll hopefully do a Pros & Cons List / Review for each episode after it airs.  I'll probably start with the Negatives, so that we end on a happy note with the Positives.

Negatives:
- Phil not introducing the Teams at the Start. This was the thing I hated most about S26, but excused it due to the format, with half the Teams being Blind Dates. There is absolutely NO REASON for this to carry over to a normal Season.  :groan:
- Phil once again NOT announcing all Team Placements at the Pitstop.  :gaah:
- A Fast Forward on the 1st Leg, when there's an EP at stake?  :groan:
- ENOUGH WITH THE HASHTAGS.  Or a least make them meaningful to the Team. E.g #MotherSon rather then #TeamAlabama.  Like someone else already said, it's not a gimmick Season.
- Spreading out the Helicopter departure times. I mean we could have had at least two Teams depart at a time. It really killed the suspense. I LOVE when all the teams are bunched together, and if this Leg had have had a RB, and then the Detour, with ALL teams bunched together for the whole, (or most of), the Leg, it would have been Amazing.  (TAR 18 Leg 2 Perfected this with all 11 Teams at the Detour at the same time) Stupid Helicopter sign up.  (:;)
- Once again a predictable Leg Winner.  :groan:  And I could almost predict that they'll give the EP too one of the F/F teams, most likely the Cheerleaders. (Providing they survive that long) - This is solely based on my imagination of them forming an alliance.
- Kelly & Shevonnes Elimination. This team could have been great. They really need another NEL on Leg 1. Its been 8 Seasons since the last one.  :'(
- Finally the whole Leg design was disastrous.  Like I said earlier, there should've been a RB AND a Detour.  Producers need to take a good long look at TAR Aus, and Canada's first Legs.  They're able to throw in loads of tasks in Leg 1. I know it's all down to the Budget, and this and that, but come on, if other Versions can do it, WHY CAN'T CBS DO THE SAME!!!!

Positives:
- The Cast on a whole, apart from Josh & Tanner, are great, so far anyway.
- The revamped graphics look sharp, and I'm really liking them.
- The Fast Forward flopping like TAR 24.  :hoot:

Unsure Of:
- The new EP twist. Why bother having a twist? It would have been better if they just kept the 2 EP's, where both Teams had to use them before the 5th Leg. I'll just wait to see how this one turns out.

So there's my quick run down. Can't believe I've only 3 Positives.  ???  I'm praying this isn't a sign of things to come.

Love: Ernest & Jin, Cindy & Rick
Like: Adam & Alex, Logan & Chris, Jazmine & Danielle, Denise & James Earl, Justin & Diana, Tiffany & Krista, Kelly & Shevonne
Neutral: Joey & Kelsey
Dislike: Tanner & Josh

gabriel90:
The amount of dumb teams this season is off the charts ... but it is very entertaining I laughed my ass of so hard! and drama queens are the funniest.  I'm a sucker for Best Friends/Brothers teams so I'm automatically rooting for Tanner & Josh.  :conf:
