According to Live Sightings, there is a detour at Copacabana Beach, with puzzles on one side of the detour and footvolley on the other side of the detour.
After this is the pitstop at Arpoador Rock, where teams have to climb the rock to reach Phil.
So it seems that the leg in Rio is as follows:
- Arrive in Rio
- Route Info: Go to Lagoa Helipad
- Route Info: Go to Copacabana Beach
- Detour: Tile Puzzle or Footvolley
- Route Info: Go to Pit Stop - Arpoador Rock

I guess you missed the tweet that teams flew from Lagoa to Urca Hill in Botofogo and then probably took taxi to Copacabana Beach. That is if the tweet was valid.

In the Los Angeles - Rio flights I'm sure you meant "AMerican" Airlines and not AM - AeroMéxico.
AM - AMX AeroMéxico
AA - AAL American Airlines
DL - DAL Delta Airlines
