The UP Express (airport to Union station express) which is not opened as of yet was open to a private event ? (WP has the details). Union Station was closed yesterday to subway trains, but was open for other methods (such as GO Transit). We checked out the terminal and there was no activity. The terminal is about a 5-7 minute walk from where Jon's stand up was. To add more to this, the ACC is connected to Union Station and teams could have theoretically exited the building into Union without being noticed.

The person who tweeted the airport sighting, tweeted in April about vacationing in Cuba. Since the domestic and international terminals are different at Pearson, I would speculate that we are headed international for leg 2.
