PENTICTON - The Summerland area is about to get some nationwide publicity
thanks to a popular national TV show that just finished taping in the area.
The Amazing Race Canada recently wrapped up a shoot in the
South Okanagan with a segment that is expected to air sometime in
July.
The Summerland Waterfront Resort was the focus of the segment, which
will feature contestants performing a 'task' through an obstacle course that
includes wake boarding.
Sources say the first of the crew arrived in Summerland on May 17
and the last of the crew left this morning, May 26. Some rain fell on
the contestants while they were in town, but there was some good weather as
well.

I got some huge sightings guys!! :cheer:
So after work today, I followed a hunch that the pit stop would be at the Muttart Conversatory in Edmonton, AB and it was!!
I thought they would be long gone, but they were conducting post-leg interviews. I don't believe this was the finish line though. It seemed too quiet, and one team was organizing their clues & papers.
In total I saw 3 teams. I would have gotten closer to take pictures, but I was getting the death stare everywhere I went :<3
There was a sign for a Private Function, and there were vans carrying filming equipment.
Now only if my pictures would upload ???
halfass09:
The teams I saw were:
* Blue Backpack M/M (#17/18)
* Purple Jacket M/M (#5/6)
* Blue African Canadian M/F
In order to get pictures of the African Canadian M/F, I climbed on top of the conservatory and took the shot from above into the glass pyramid. If you look closely there is a Route Marker and a Roadblock.
I also overheard some of the dialogue when they conducting interviews.
Blue Backpack M/M: the male on the right "When I was pouring drinks for the constable, that's where it all went wrong". Possibly alluding to a roadblock at Fort Edmonton Park??. I walked by a second time and they were talking about another team with a member named Sean.
Purple Jacket M/M (wearing orange and green in the pictures): "We would be honored to have people rooting for us, and wanting us to win"
