I think Cyprus is normally safe for international travelers, the only thing is to visit Limassol or Paphos. The country is never visited in TAR before and would be the first time to visit.

That's my wild guess for the new country this season. :hrt: They visited Malta and Monaco last 2 seasons, so I'm suspecting this to be next.

Maybe not this season, but potentially in a few years, depending on how the U.S. President that takes office in 2017 and Fidel Castro get along.

In the meantime, if you want to see racing in Cuba, check out Australia season 2, which spent 2 legs there.

But really, I don't think they'll ever go there. Many Americans still see Cuba as being the same as it was in the 60's, so it would probably spark controversy akin to TAR 22's Vietnam leg.

If they're working on replacement Legs, especially in Asia, then Vietnam and (especially) Philippines (because of working with ActiveTV) would be quick fixes since they have 5 seasons of complete Legs between them to easily recycle. lol
