Alenaveda:
JC says that their strategy was to start on the perimeter of the searching area. He also says that they were lucky of finding a dude who looked like a surfer - maybe because he had a surfer board in his hand :funny: - . Of course the guy is the clue giver, who handle the next clue, a Detour.

DETOUR: Teams have to experience the agitated night life of Montañitas by choosing between "Bartender or Disco Dancer".
Bartender: racers should travel on foot to the discotheque Caña Grill. Once there, they must serve a pyramid of cocktails using the technique taught by the expert.
Disco Dancer: racer should travel on foot to the discotheque Nativa Bambú and lear the coreography that one of the dancer will teach them.
When they get the judges approval, they'll receive their next clue.

Bros-in-law choose to do Disco Dancer. When arrive to the disco, they go to the rehearsal area. They say they expected something easy, but suddenly the dancer start to teach them a complicated coreography.

Father & daughter and friends are now at Montañitas too. They find together the Surf Board and head to the designated area and split at the moment of searching the surfer.

In the disco detour, JC & Gio are still learning the coreography. They ask the dancer if there's still more, and when she answer affirmative decide to switch detours.

On the searching area, Mexicans and Argentineans ask for directions; but are Juan & Ceci who find first the surfer. She says that their strategy is to race their own race.
They opt by Bartender.

The boys are still unable to locate the surfer.

In Bartender, JC & Gio pick a station where they have a tablet with a video with the instructions and a completed pyramid as a reference (the task is basically the same the teams had to do in TAR24, only the piramid is shorter)
They prepare the glasses with the two colored liquors and Gio do the task. They think is good and ask for applauses while all the tower of glasses fall...

Alenaveda:
JC & Gio glasses tower fall. They believe they had completed the detour, but two of the cups of the bottom line have both colors mixed, so it's a no from the judge.

Nico & Javi keep looking for the surfer, they discuss about what they have to do.

At the Detour, Juan & Ceci arrive and catch the Ecuadorian team. They look the demonstation on video.

Meanwhile, Christian & Dina finally reach Montañitas. They quickly locate the Surf Board and proceed to search the surfer.
 
Nico & Javi are still asking directions. Javi beg Nico to calm down, that they still have a team behind them. After looking in the perimeter, they start to search in every street and finally find a surfer girl who provide them with the clue. And they also choose to do Bartender.

Ecuadorian friends are asking each surfer they find in the area for their next clue.

Juan attempts to complete the detour, but the liquors mixed.

JC realized their mistake. The glass tower is too high, so gravity makes the liquid mix while falling. He advices Gio to keep it low. He proceed to fill the pyramid following those instructions and they receive the thumbs up from the judge after checking that all cups have the correct color.
RI: Make their way on foot to the Balsa Surf Camp Hotel and sign in the registration book. Check in times will be departing times next day.

When Nico & Javi arrive to the Detour, Nico comments that Javi has experience on bartending, including a couple of courses taken.

Second attempt from father and daughter is also a fail. They start to check that the cups of the pyramid are too close, that the glasses are from different sizes, and change the way they drop the liquid. With all this, they third attempt is good! And receive the next clue. Before leaving, Ceci tell the boys about the glasses' sizes.

Finally, Christian & Dina locate a surfer with a clue. They choose Bartender; because Christian is a lousy dancer.

Nico & Javi do a first attempt: due to only one cup is a no.
Christian & Dina attempt is a mess too.

The commandos arrive to the hotel and proceed to sign in on the book at 6.21pm.

Alenaveda:
Argentineans following attemp is incorrect, because Javi moves the tower forward and backward while dropping the liquid.
After another fail and realize the other team has been there for around 25 minutes, Ecuadorian friends switch to Disco Dancer.

Juan & Ceci check at 6.30pm.

On Disco Dancer, Ecuadoreans start to learn the coreography. Dina is a fast learner, but Christian struggle a little with it. Anyway, he takes it with humor and a smile on his face.

On Bartender, friends think they're in last. This time Nico drops the liquid and they're good! They leave the detour in third.

Dina thinks they're ready and move to the scenery. And doing a "Phil", Jaime is there. The reason is that they have to make a roulette roll to pick the outfits they're going to wear: rumba dancers.

Argentineans friends ask locals for the location of the hotel at the beach.

At the detour, Christian & Dina start the coreography. He asked her to guide him about which movement to do. Oh, Jaime tells them that they have to score over 12 points to get the next clue from the jury!

Commercial.

Alenaveda:
Back to the race.

The jury is about to give their score for Christian & Dina: 11 points. They have to dance again.

After getting a little lost, Javi & Nico check at the hotel at 6.45pm.

Christian & Dina second attempt on Disco Dancer is scored with 14 points; so they are done with the detour.
And they check at the hotel at 7.50pm.

It's next morning, and the commandos pick a CNT tablet with the clue.
RI: board a taxi and travel to the Playa de Ayangue in the Ayangue commune to find the next clue.

Mexicans and Argentineans depart in 2nd and 3rd.

Bros-in-law arrive to the Ayangue Beach and locate the clue box.
RB: who loves to download?
Team member has to carry all the merchandise from a boat anchored on the sea to a designated area on the beach. When this is done, a judge will handle the next clue.
WARNING: ITEMS CAN BE SUBMERGED IN THE SEA OR GET WET.
This obstacle must be performed only by DINA, JAVIER, JUAN CARLOS and JUAN.

Juan & Ceci arrive to the beach, but can't find the clue box. They see Ecuadoreans and run into them, thinking its there but no.

In the hotel, Christian & Dina get the tablet.

On the beach, Ceci see the clue box and pick the clue.
Minutes later, Nico & Javi also reach the beach and proceed to the RB location.

Juan is carrying the heavy stuff first. Nico tells Javi to stay calmed, that Dina have to do it and she'll probably have problems.

While JC is doing the task, Gio pick a plastic chair from the items carried and sit on the beach giving instructions to his partner. "Life is so pretty", he says laughing. JC is running to the boat.

Alenaveda:
Ecuadorian friends finally are at the beach and read the clue.

All four teams are doing the RB.

Wow! they also have to carry a passenger to the beach.
JC completed the task, and the commandos go to the judge carrying a cellphone they exchange for the next clue.
RI: make your way on taxi to the first entrance of the jetty of the Olón commune.

The other 3 teams keep carrying things from the boat. They look very close one for another.

Bros-in-law at the next route marker.
RI: travel on foot to the marked station, once there mount a pair of stilts each and make their way to the Pit Stop of this leg, the Playa de Olón. The last team to arrive WILL BE eliminated.
Seems to be a real long distance between the area and where the PS is located.

JC & Gio are a little worried, not for mounting the stillts, but to do it on the sand.

At the RB, Juan is carrying the passenger on his shoulders and when they reach the beach, they fall to the sand. They're second.

Javi is the luckiest guy of the pack, because his passenger is a beautiful girl :lol: . They're in third position.

The commandos are travelling to the PS with some difficulties because of the winter and rain, but they're keeping the pace anyway.

Once in the mat, they ask for permission to land.

When Toya ask them about quitting the Disco detour, they answer  "Have you ever seen a dancing commando? But we've seen a commando who loves cocktails". More serious, they talk about they improvement that they're coastal people, they're in their natural enviroment.
They're team number one! They win again a couple of Samsung Galaxy S5 (JC jokes about give the phones to them now and connected). And of course, they one of the 3 finalists that will race for the 100.000 dollars.

In the RB, Dina is carrying a girl from the boat. She ends the task in last place.

At the Olón Jetty, Mexicans and Argentineans arrive at the same time again. Together they pick the stillts and start to march to the PS.
Quickly Nico & Javi find the way to walk with the stillts and take a little advantage over Juan & Ceci.

While both team are midway, Christian & Dina reach the clue box. She says she remember how to walk on stillts so she quickly find the pace.

Ceci asks his father to gives her his backpack to facilitate things to him. In the confessional she explains that it was because the boys took a good lead over them.
