Alenaveda:
On the stations at Ambato street the three remaining teams are battling. Argentinean friends say it was difficult because melcocha was so hot that hurt their fingers.

JC & Gio show the melcocha they've done. At the parking lot of Water cab driver tell them to follow a trail to reach the Fall, but it turns to be a mislead, and they need to go back all the way to the road.

At the ARM, Christina & Dina finish in 5th place, with Nico & Javier so close to them in 6th that almost arrive to the next clue box at the same time. Ecuadorian couple chooses Air, while friends opt by Water.

Jenny & Martin are at the Fall, surpassing the Ecuadorian bros-in-law and start the ascending.

OMG! Juan & Ceci arrive to the Parque Central, but they released their cab! Of course, the U-Turn is right there.

They decide not to use the U-T, and pick the next clue.
RB: who likes pirouettes? Go to a bridge and perform a 100 meters bungee-jumping. Once is done, they'll receive a Samsung tablet with the next clue.

Ceci will perform the RB. They must travel to the Parque de San Francisco, but the problem is... they released their taxi. Luckily, they manage to find another one quickly. While travelling, they check the previous RI and see the directive about keeping their cab.

Stefa & Felipe arrive to the Parque Central. They don't use the U-T (not this time, remarks Felipe by the way). Stefa does the task.

At Ambato street, after many attempts Sonia & Gabriel finally receive the next clue in last place. On the clue box, they choose to do Water.

Talking about Water, Nico & Javier reach the Fall (and still no news from JC & Gio who are still lost in the surroundings). Now it's a race between them and Jenny & Martin.
On the option Air, Dina & Christian are preparing to complete the course.

JC & Gio find another trail that take them to the fall, but not the place they need to go to.

Giovanni & Juan Carlos are pulling off a Nora & Ariel :funny: I really want to see a team pull off a Braian & Karina with the double U-Turn, I don't know why... :ascared However, I think they will pull off a season 3 and leave the U-Turn sign empty...  :gaah:

And the race continues...

And JC & Gio are still in the wrong place. They undo their way..., and eventually find the cabs from the other teams!  Then they proceed to prepare for the ascending.
On Air, Dina is the first to do the zip-lining. And then starts the sequence: while Chistian is doing the zip-line, she's on the bridge.

On the taxi, Sonia & Gabriel talk about using the U-T if they can surpass one of the teams behind them.
When they arrive to the Fall, they find JC & Gio waiting to the other two teams to complete the task. They agree on using it on somebody else or not using on them? (sorry the audio is not good with the water noise)

Back to air, Christian's on the bridge, Dina is climbing.They're really fast at any section. He reminds her that there's only a 10 minutes difference with the other teams. They end the Detour in 3rd place!

On Water, Nico surpasses Jenny (he says she was too tired and whinning about things not working properly) and hits the bell. When Javier starts to climb, Nico says Martin was pushing Jenny too hard. She is taken down crying to the beginning point and Martin do the ascending. She says that it's going to happen the same than her to him.
Javier makes the bell sound and go down. They leave the Detour in 4th.
Martin can't make the ascending too; so they decide to switch to Air. And the bickering is back.
In the meantime, JC is starting to ascend on the second rope.

On the taxi, Ceci is asking how high is 100 meter, and Juan answers that the Fall had 22; and now she's a little afraid.
Wow, Stefa & Felipe catch up the father and daughter.
They're both on bridge. Stefa is in one of the two stations and Ceci in the other.

Jenny & Martin arrive to Air and start the course. Jenny goes first, then Martin.

On the RB, the girls are done with the gear and now are given instructions about the jump. Stefa wants more safety devices on her :lol:.
She steps into the plate and jumps! Same with Ceci. Their partners comment in voiceovers about the girls doing the RB.

On Water, both teams embraced on a battle for finishing first the task; but is Gabriel who reaches the bell and ring it. (BTW, they should have changed the device, because is the same rope that Jenny used). But when Sonia starts to ascend, she starts to struggle.

And we're back...

Sonia is having troubles to ascend. And she goes down. At the same time, Gio & JC complete the Detour in 5th.
Sonia tries one more time, but it was impossible for her to do it; and they switch Detours.
On Air, Jenny & Martin are doing the last part of the course. They're in sixth position.

In Parque Central, Christian & Dina U-turn Jenny & Martin. She'll perform the jump.
They comment that Chileans pic wasn't in the box  :o .

At the RB, Chilean couple and father and daughter receive the tablet with the clue.
RI: make your way on taxi to the Parque de la Familia de Baños. Once there, go walking to the Mirador of the Agoyán Hydroelectrical Dam, the PS of this leg of the race. Last team to check in there, may be eliminated.

Of course, taxi race to the Pit Stop.

Nico & Javier arrive to the Parque Central, and choose not to use the U-Turn. Nico is doing the RB.
At the bridge, Dina does the jump.

Back at the detour, Sonia & Gabriel complete all the course, and get the clue in last position.

And Jenny & Martin reach the U-Turn board and see their faces on it! And they don't know what to do! Martin wants to keep racing, but Jenny put JC & Gio pic on the board. Martín says not to do it, and they leave. But Jenny sense of logic prevails, and convince Martin to use the second spot only to be sure somebody else is behind them and gain a time advantage. So they finally U-Turn Sonia & Gabriel. And when she places both pictures she says "I'm sorry" (in english).
On the taxi, Martin talks about how a dirty competitor is Christian.

JC & Gio land in the Parque and are surprised by the pics on the board. JC will do the RB.

At the bridge, Ecuadorian couple get the tablet.

Sonia & Gabriel face the U-Turn board at the Parque. While traveling back to Water, they accept what happened as a part of the game, saying that if they'd have the chance, they'd have done the same. That they had to do it to save themselves.

The taxi race to the PS is now a foot race. And the difference is just meters.

Stefa & Felipe step into the mat in first place, and they won 2 tablets Samsung, courtesy of Claro. They say that they're going to continue with their own strategy, slow and steady. And keep enjoying every moment of the race, until the moment that fate has marked for them.

Juan & Ceci check in second, but they must fulfill a 15 minutes penalty for releasing their cab.

Argentinean friends at the bridge. And complete the RB in 4th.
In the cab to the PS, they talk about personal life, and Nico says that his dad would be happy to see him doing the jump.

On Water detour, Jenny is doing the ascending on the other rope. And this time she reaches the bell! She says that the specialist assigned to that other rope explained her better what to do than the other guy. Martin also completes the ascending. Then they travel back to the Parque.

At the PS, time is up for the father and daughter and now they're oficially the team number two. They say they proved to be physically fitted and that they're going after the big prize.

Christian & Dina check in third position. Toya asks them about the U-Turn. They answer that they're there to win, and they will use any legit weapon to claim the victory.

Back to the Detour, Sonia begins the ascension, but mid-way her back starts to hurt so she drops to the ground. They decided to quit the task and take the penalty; and make their way to the Parque again.

The race continues...

Sonia & Gabriel decide to quit the Water detour and take the penalty. They travel back to the Parque.

Precisely at the Parque, Jenny & Martin rip the next clue, and Jenny chooses to perform the RB. Her face when she reads that implies doing a 100 meters jump from a bridge is priceless :lol: .

Ecuadorian bros-in-law at the bridge. In a confessional, JC says he had no time to feel fear. He had just to do it. He put his gear, went to the platform, the people counted one, two and he didn't remember listen the number three as he made the jump. They're out in fifth.

Nico & Javier step into the mat in 4th place.

In the park, Sonia & Gabriel open the RB clue. Gabriel does it. While on the bridge, Jenny is putting the gear and Martin is making scared faces after watching how deep is the land behind the bridge. He gives Jenny support, and tell her not to scare, just jump and let gravity do all the work. They complete the RB in 6th.

Gio & JC claim fifth place. "One more day", says JC happy.

On the bridge, Gabriel is ready to jump. He's showing in his face a mix of joy and fear. He says that the instructor made a three count and pushed him. No matter what, they completed the task. After receiving the clue, on the taxi, Sonia says that the joy stops here: they're in last, have a penalty, everybody else has done everything and although another team get a penalty, they're too far ahead; she's about to cry.

Jenny & Martin arrive to the PS. They're team number six. Jaime comments about finding their picture on the board and later U-Turning Sonia & Gabriel. Jenny says that being from the same country doesn't mean be nice with them.

Sonia & Gabriel finally check with Toya. She recalls that they're desisted of perfoming the other side of the Detour, therefore they have a 2 hours penalty. But they're also the last team to arrive... and this leg is a NEL  :conf:. They'll  have a Speed Bump. But they're a fast team and she trusts that they'll be able to catch up the rest of the pack.
 
Gabriel is sitting on the mat, still in shock. She hugs them. On the confessional, Sonia says anything can happen on the race. They've seen a lot of episodes, and nothing is written, anything can happen she repeats.
