SuperTux:
Rumor says the filming is delayed due to some trouble with the crew's visas...

dryedmangoez:
What an interesting Race hehe.

SuperTux:
It's not directly related to the race itself, but I find it interesting and hence I put it here:

Two celebrities who the crew contacted and were cut before filming are under arrest for stashing and taking marijuana (over 100 grams, a felony that could sentence the criminal to 3 or more years' imprisonment). That arrest is a big piece of news in Chinese entertainment.

The crew are so lucky.

Ordinary jail. China has abolished the labor-camp system. Usually people who take drugs commit only a misdemeanor and are to be detained for 14 days. But this time one of the duo (Jackie Chan's son) stashed so much marijuana that was more than twice of the conviction criterion (50 grams), and thus he may be convicted of drug trade which would definitely be a felony.
