My memory of past seasons is kind of a blur. Is this the first time a judge directly helps a contestant during the challenge (bar the team challenge)? ???

I didn't think Cutter was going to do well... but his truffles did look really good. I feel like it was meant to be a moment where viewers are like YAY CUTTER GOOD JOB YOU REDEEMED YOURSELF but I felt none of those things. :lol:

I agree. Come on MasterChef, make them do something deceptively easy like the Egg Pressure Test from S3!
