Apparently the twist on Day 1 is going to be Tocantins-style mixed with a bit of Samoa. Tribes will choose their leader and then the leader will designate a "weakest player" who gets sent back to camp in a helicopter and can then make a choice between a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol or an extra bag of rice, hence the "big decision" that three castaways must face.
Also there is talk in there of an EI/CI-style HII reappearing "later in the game" on top of the original standard idols which can be played after votes are read if somebody has the most votes. I'm not very keen on that TBH, but if omeone can get their hands on both a standard idol and the old-style idol, it sure gives them huge power in this game... virtually untouchable for a while.
