What would be in your bag?
« on: January 11, 2015, 04:39:52 PM »
Let's say you were casted for TAR (we can wish, right? :funny:) What would you bring along in your bag?
"I would define [culture] as the propensity to respect. The propensity to respect the other, the propensity to respect that which you do not know, the propensity to respect bread, earth, nature, history, and culture, and as a consequence of this, the propensity to respect the self, to dignity.” - AB

Usually, these types of posts get moved into the Questions thread, but it hasn't yet. :didimiss:

Based on reports from past racers, I would definitely pack a daily devotional Bible first. This will help keep you focused during the race.

As for some interesting items, I would say binoculars, a pitch counter, pillow case, lemon juice, and a variety of energy/power bars, just to name a few.

Personally, I'd try to attempt to bring a pet to the race. Adds some extra challenge, right?

I believe there is a mandatory TAR supplied first aid kit. And no iPods allowed!

FWIW, a Future TAR26 "Race for the Rose" contestant posted his bag contents on instgram this week.

I don't want to break any rules, so let me know how much info I can give about this, ie. username, post actual pic, etc.
