Probably, but wasn't the previous location that was mentioned rumored to be the pitstop? If that's the case.. then it could be a superleg.

Peach said Qatar was mentioned but not confirmed. I'm all for the Middle East, but please.. there are way more things that can be done in the ME than dune bugging.
Edit: and camels, dates, and arab culture. Qatar for one, is very modernized.
