Tensions.........that is funny in a way. The tensions go back to the 1930s and the Spanish Civil War. Franco and the Republicans tried to get the Brits out of Gibraltar. The Spanish government locks the border gate every now and then, but it disrupts the local Spanish population that crosses and works in Gibraltar lots more than the residents of the "Rock."
