Guangdong Olympic stadium could be the pit stop for the first leg?

Possible locations -
Somewhere along the Pearl River area for cluebox/tasks (from from Pazhou to Bai e tan) - near to Zhujiang New Town
- assuming TAR 21 Leg 1 similarity
Canton Tower - one of the most recognizable landmarks
Baiyun Mountain will be great for the majestic scenic view that Leg 1 always needed
Lianhua Shan - less majestic than Baiyun IMO

Sun Yat Sen Memorial
Temple of the Six Banyan Trees
IFC/West Tower and Guangzhou Opera House (together)
Parks and Gardens: (popular ones)
Yuntai Garden 云台花园
Guangzhou Martyrs' Memorial Garden 广州起义烈士陵园

Anyone else wants to chip in? There's many many attractions (especially parks, temples and gardens) so it can be anywhere. But they gotta visit one popular landmark.. (like The Bund).

I'm a bit surprising when Guangzhou confirmed a leg since it is not a tourist city(Guangzhou is much known as a commercial city)...
Chen Clan Academy is possible since it is closed to public tomorrow(but it is closed every Monday not for some special reason)

And yes, Neobie is right, the shopping there is crazy and if they do a task in any of the malls there... it's gonna be a CRAZY CRAZY search for the rights stores and such.

^^ I wouldn't be surprised if they had to do a shopping task of picking out 10 items from a different store in the many shops scattered around any of the malls.
