Leg 5 (Norway --> Poland) Analysis
Might I say this was better than the premiere and Leg 3 in Lisbon. First off, I'd like to comment Gdansk has some beautiful architecture that has a mix of the old (Detour and U-Turn location) and the new (Roadblock at record-length apartment complex). Really great place to see and visit. However, the Detour didn't really show it. I expected better in a wonderful country like Poland than choosing between standing like a statue or dancing like the Baroque.

"Pose", doesn't look too difficult... wrong! You could see Nicky & Kim and Brandon & Adam shaking and falling off that soapbox stand, but I don't like the concept of earning money this way. It provided a nickel-sized amount of entertainment and it felt like the TAR21 Dutch jukebox Detour choice all over again. "Polka" is fun and exciting, especially when the camera coins Nicole's smile during her finish on the ERs' first attempt. Nonetheless, it's not really that original or culturally unique. You could do the same thing in Greece, Sweden, or Serbia and still have the same fun.
DETOUR SCORE: 7/10

The Roadblock was great! "You can be penalized for bad manners!" :lol: Teammates going into random residents' homes to sample paczkis was really a great round of fun. Something great for TAR23 to remember by. This looks super difficult as the apartment complex is over the stretch of almost 10+ American football fields. The only criticism I can think of is the music played. I wish they added some of the tensionful and adventurous soundtracks from TAR13 in Kazakstan or Russia during this task being aired. (Resident that looks like Wynona as the clue giver! :hearts:)
ROADBLOCK SCORE: 9/10

Sopot Pier is stunning. A must visit if you are willing to get a close-up of the notable Baltic Sea. Sadly, Brandon & Adam being eliminated was really disappointing.
PIT STOP SCORE: 8/10

With the (sad) music and their confessional, I felt like I was very sad for their elimination even more than I expected to be!

Hopefully, next week, Ice Girls are still 7th and get eliminated. :lol: JK
