The logistics of the Botswana legs production-wise is probably a factor in the selection (remember TAR will be submitting the episode for the technical categories.)

I think Phil gets to submit a different episode for the host category.

That was a great episode. If they didn't pick that one, the Bali and Berlin episodes would have been good picks also.

But I can see how Africa gets the bonus points in their decision.

IMO, Switzerland was definitely the worst leg.

They definitely wouldn't have picked the Vietnam leg (even though it was good).

Ep 4: I Love Monkeys (Bali Leg)

My favorite part are The clue inside the coconut, the balinese cultural task, and the drama in the surfboard shop 

Ep 7: Be Safe anf Don't Hit a Cow

I simply can't believe that girls get eliminated eventough  2 other team got problem with a police 

Ep 9: The Ultimate Fun House

Who didn't love this fun and exciting night leg? 
but, could've been better if this leg was an elimination leg

But things like linear legs where only the leading team gets to go for the FF bug the heck out of me (where is the drama in that? Instead of two or even three teams racing for the FF we get waiting for someone to fall off some waterskis) ... But still, a fun leg!

I think so.

For TAR7, they submitted hour 2 of "I've Been Wanting a Face Lift for a Long Time" - Hour 1 was Gretchen's fall in the tunnels and their non-elim, Hour 2, the ep submitted, was Brian & Greg's accident/the footrace with Ray & Deana. 
It even had it's own episode title. "We're Moving Up the Food Chain."

I really like this episode. I think this is one of my favorites, aside from Bali & Berlin. It has some cultural experiences: Roadblock & Speed Bump and shows some luxurious things you can do in Botswana: FF & Detour.

This would have been a perfect leg if they had a bunching point before the FF and RB. Great tasks, great drama, great unexpected outcome and some teams getting random fines = <3
