To be a little more specific than the blog, that picture that Peach just posted is of the "Monument to the Fallen Shipyard Workers of 1970 in Gdańsk" from a picture at Wikipedia that matches it.  It commemorates the 42 or more people killed during the Coastal cities events in December 1970.
