For what it's worth, Ben Mulroney (@BenMulroney1976) has been tweeting today, so I think it's unlikely he's the host.
Jon Montgomery (@jrmonty12) hasn't tweeted in a few days.

The host has dark blonde hair. Ben has black so highly doubtful

OK. I was just investigating the leading candidates around here. The only picture I saw of the host was low resolution and off color. I tried to blow it up and lighten it and couldn't tell much more. It almost looked red to me and he might have a stubbly beard. That could match Jon Montgomery, but I question if they would have a host with limited TV experience. I'm not Canadian though and i don't know what Jon might have done in the past.

From witnessing the 24/7 coverage of the Olympics in 2010, I can tell Montgomery was a natural in front of the camera. He has been interviewed hundreds of times so that might give him some experience.
