That was a surprisingly entertaining episode, even knowing that animals were going to play a part anyhow. But those baby goats were the creme de la creme of comedy.
As to the preview, looks to me like it is a switchback, just that this time, there was all snow on the ground. The last time we saw cheese, the soil was muddy and soft from snow melt, so it had to be the difference in the time of year of filming.

Something I just realized (and checked the placements after the first leg) -- all of the express pass alliance teams who planned to target Bates and Anthony are now out of the Race.
