I find it difficult to believe that an Amazing Race will go into the second leg with only 8 teams. I suspect that that CBS's use of the term "quit" really translates to "2 teams have penalties of 4, 6 or 24 hours and 1 team is eliminated." We'll see.

As by quitting, I'm guessing they are either going to quit the sandcastle building task (not searching through/destroying) since if we saw a search through task, they would be knocking over sandcastles pretty easily. The outrigger canoe Pit Stop task seems possible. If Lucy & Emilia can pass their rowing and building as an unarchitectural duo, mostly anybody can. :yess:
