Time to translate some team names! Jai Ho to the rescue:

Top row, left to right:
1. (M/M) David and Eliran
2. (F/F) Romy (?) and Coral (or Carol, or Carly) - the light clothing colors make it hard to read, but it's definitely 2 girls.
3. (M/M) Eliran and Itzik (Itzik is a slang name for Yitzchak, or Isaac in English)
Bottom row, left to right:
1. (M/F) Talia and Kobi (Kobi is a slang name for Ya'akov, or Jacob in English)
2. (F/F) Dana and Debbie
3. (F/F) Ma'Ayan and Bat-El

Ran, you're most probably right. We have seen "unofficial" nicknames/honorifics used like Tom calling Gil "Pitzi," and Annael calling Akiva "Shushi," (among others), but I can't think of a single Israeli name where Luke would be a nickname.

Mako entertainment revealed three teams that are competing this season.
The Mother/Daughter team Debbie and Dana were spotted in France and the final six Yield sign in Vegas, the other two teams appear to be early boots.

Just pure speculation, but...

Could Bat-El of Ma'ayan/Bat-El possibly be Bat-El Jobi? She represented Israel a few years ago at Miss Universe. Being that we've already seen a team of Miss Israels (Liran and Elena, season 1) plus an actual Miss Universe (Natalie Glebova in TARA) as contestants, I wouldn't put it past the Israeli casting agents to cast another beauty queen.

i'm from israel and just yesterday i watched the final episode of "the voice" (israel version). in the end, the host (i don't like him very much!) came in and reveald the new teams for the third season! there are 11 teams, and the season is scheduled to start in May.
i've heared that in this season they visited Brazil, btw. and also, the first leg, i think, is in israel. although there is no roadblock or detour,
the whole first leg  is taking place in israel.
i have hopes for a good season.  last season, it was just a big disappointment for me. there was a low budget, so the tasks were lame, really ridiculous.
anywhy, i'm sorry for my rough english. i hope you understand me
