Certainly for me, having good tasks and good teams eclipses the importance of having a good route and locations, but on the other hand, if you have a good route, you can get a good season even with average teams/tasks. But that's just my opinion.

I concur, but knowing that ActiveTV produces a lot of different versions of the race means that we may potentially see a few countries/challenges repeated from other versions of the race because their contacts are already there. But having said that, I think one of the main reasons why the Aussie version has done so well critically is down to the casting. Even though last season there were quite a few stereotypical and gimmick teams, once we got to know them better I understood why they were cast as there was more to them than their exterior image and the race brought it out.

I haven't heard anything about season 3 as of yet, nothing on any of the popular tv blog and news sites either. So we can assume that the race probably won't air this year because of the return of The Mole (which they are spending a crapload of money probably from that dedicated to the race's budget in previous years) but we may here something come the new financial year (July). I just can't see how 7 could can such a well received show that has won more accolades and international awards than pretty much any other Aussie production right now. Plus even though ratings weren't possibly good enough to make up for the huge cost of production, they must've factored in that they were competing with the Olympics last year and their terrible timeslot scheduling definitely threw ratings off.

I just don't want it to be over for the sheer fact that I still want to get my chance to go on the race!  :gaah: :lol3:

THIS. I don't know, I didn't see it being a particularly enjoyable task. And the Apples side of the Detour wasn't exactly much better... Something more related to Azerbaijani culture please!! (:;)
