To answer this question honestly, in Nadiya and Natalie scenario terms:
If Trexie left their passport behind, twinnies will tell them about it, or even pick up for them and return to them out of good will.
If Ryan and Abbie or other teams left their passport behind, twinnies will not pick up the passport, and production will probably tell them not to do so.
If out of good will, twinnie will tell Ryan and Abbie or the other teams, where they have seen their passport and tell them to go back and get it.
