  saw a "WMF" in the store window, so did a Global Blue search in the Alexanderplatz area and came up with two shops close by.  Who the hell knows if this has anything to do with anything....   :lol3:  :duno:  :groan:

Edited to add: According to new data in the "Sightings thread". it appears that the racers were near the WMF store on Karl-Liebknecht Strasse.  (HA! got it even without the additional info!  Way to go, me!)

I hope this pitstop is a prelude to a leg at the Santa Claus Village in Finland.

I think of that, too since its already Christmas right now and only few remaining legs left and that few remaining legs might probably be a Christmas and New Year's Day theme.  After Berlin and probably Finland they might also go to these place:

1) Galve goat in Galve, Sweden which it was a traditional to that city for erecting a giant goat during Christmas for almost 50 years: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%A4vle_goat

2) A visit to Scotland where a Scottish poet, Robert Burns wrote a famous song during a New Year's Day celebration: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Burns

--- End quote ---
If your thinking Scotland and Christmas/New Years Day theme it's probably more likely to be Edinburgh with the Hogmany Street party hosting 80 thousand people in the middle of the city and the Loony Dook in the Firth of Forth on New Years day. Plus you have the Castle, Grayfriers Bobby, Artuhur's Seat, Scottish Parliment, lots of supposedly haunted streets under the city and the Zoo.

May have to take a wonder into the city tonight just to see if there are any signs of the race.
