Four plates ready for have nots. Shane is ready to go. General chat in kitchen area.

I'm confused. Why is Ian outside playing pool when he could be inside eating real food for the first time in 7 days? Also, why are none of the feeds in the dining area where the have-nots are eating?
I guess Joe has just finished making the meal.
