Topita:
Hmmm hard to say really. :)
Seems to be a lot of travelling going on, Show contentfirst to Paris then to Cuba (?)
So that might be quite an equalizer. Still Paul, the twins and Grace/Joseph seem sharper racers than others with their eye on the prize more, in general (apart from Grace's somewhat whacky behavior at times).
So my guess would be either the Sticky & Sam, the cops or team hunners (has she actually raced in those since? Didn't notice..).
Hoping not the Italian sisters they're too much fun to watch! And they are in a relatively ok position now. :)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Were you devastated at Ross and Tarryn's elimination?
No. They were ok but it has been coming for a while. Never felt that invested in that team, though they seemed nice people.
2. Who will win and who should win the next leg?
Paul & Steve will probably win it if they keep up the focus they have now.
The twins would deserve a win.
3. Now that we're halfway through the season, how does it compared to the first?
Didn't watch the first till months later so hard to compare. They have some of the same kinds of characters on.
Don't have a real favorite as opposed to then (was rooting for 1. Cowboys, 2. Sam/Renae / the surferboys). Also I am less enchanted with the leg design this year, it seems they haven't put enough thought in that which is kind of a let down. Like the locations, like most of the teams in general but nobody really stands out to me yet, unlike last year.
4. Which team do you think deserves to win the most?
The final win? Hard to say at the moment. Paul/Steve are doing well right now but aren't necessarily a team I'd like to see winning.Maybe the twins, or Sticky and Sam, though I'm afraid the latter won't if they keep up their present attutide towards the race. :( I'd love to see the Italian sisters winning, even if they suck at racing (or rather because of it) but I don't think that's very likely :lol3:
5. What was/were the best moment(s) of leg 6?
1. Lucy getting all hot and bothered with the Turkish guy. :lol3:
2. Sam peeking at the twins soaping each other up.
3. The looks on the contestants faces when faced with huge oily chunks of men to wrestle.
4. The looks on the faces of some of the people doing the Dervish challenge, though I felt for them too.
6. Will Lucy and Emilia make the final 3?
Nah I don't think they will, unfortunately. They stuff up too much, that will cost them at some point.
But I'm glad they're around for longer than you'd have expected. :)
7. What's your take on Sticky and Sam helping the cops out for (from what we've heard) about 45 minutes?
Well as mentioned elsewhere they were probably unlikely to get eliminated and they had apparently given up on the idea of becoming first so taking that into account their choice made some sense. But I feel they need to get a sharper attitude towards racing and decisions like this, pay more attention or else decisions or mistakes like that will cost them the race at some point.
8. Predict the finishing order of the remaining seven teams.
1. Paul/Steve
2. Joseph/Grace
3. Twins
4. Sticky/Sam
5. Italian sisters
6. Cops
7. Team Hunners
(though 4,5,6 and 7 could definitely be switching places).

What is the consequence of the fact that - allegedly - Grace and Joseph stole team Hunner's taxi?
supah:
1. Were you devastated at Ross and Tarryn's elimination?
YES! They were my favourites :'( But hey, everything happens for a reason :) All Stars, maybe?
2. Who will win and who should win the next leg?
WILL: Michelle and Jo
SHOULD: Michelle and Jo
3. Now that we're halway through the season, how does it compare to the first?
The first season was brilliance, and they really did a great job on Leg design, locations, challenges, casting and editing
I feel like for this season the producers said "Oh, we put in so much effort for the first season, we should take it easy this time round" :res:
But don't get me wrong, this is still a great season! :hoot:
4. Which team do you think deserves to win the race the most?
Sticky and Sam
OR
Michelle and Jo
both teams are racing hard, fair and consistently, but I would prefer Michelle and Jo more :hearts:
5. What was/were the best moment(s) of leg 6?
Lucy and Emilia shoe shining
Shane giving the young Turkish boy and kangaroo keyring :hugs:
Sticky and Sam helping out the cops
Michelle and Jo at the Turkish bath ;)
6. Will Lucy and Emilia make the final 3?
YES
7. Sticky and Sam helped the cops at the rugs for about 45 minutes, what do you think about that?
As the cops said, Stciky and Sam could've easily left and burnt them. It was so kind of them to stay back for a bit to help :)
8. Predict the finishing order of the remaining seven teams.
(Leg 7 finishing order)
1. Cops
2. Lucy and Emilia
3. Twins
4. Paul and Steve
5. Groseph
6. Hunners
7. Sticky and Sam

Who will crawl to the top in Cuba and who will collapse?

do you mean finishing order after the WHOLE race, or just Leg 7?
Glamazon Racer:
1. Were you devastated at Ross and Tarryn's elimination?
Very much so. :'( :'( I'm just glad it wasn't a race between Lucy & Emilia and Ross & Tarryn - can you imagine racing against a team without whom you wouldn't even be in the race? :ascared
2. Who will win and who should win the next leg?
Who will win - Michelle & Jo. Who should win - Michelle & Jo.
3. Now that we're halway through the season, how does it compare to the first?
Cast-wise, this case is probably better than the first. Location-wise, the Season 1 route was heaps better than the Season 2 route (at least so far). Task-wise, the tasks for Season 2 have generally been more exciting, with a few major exceptions, particularly on the most recent leg. On Season 1, I really loved the first five legs, but I felt that it just died after there. This season, I actually expect the latter half to be better than what we've seen so far.
4. Which team do you think deserves to win the race the most?
A hard question for sure. The team who deserves to win - just because they are both strong and extremely nice - is definitely Sticky & Sam. Michelle & Jo are probably in second place in that regard.
5. What was/were the best moment(s) of leg 6?
Very few good moments for me - it was my least favourite episode of the season. The tasks were not very well designed or balanced and the leg structure was abysmal at best. Best moment of the leg would probably have to go to Shane & Andrew giving a kangaroo toy to the little boy. I thought it was a very cute scene.
6. Will Lucy and Emilia make the final 3?
Never doubt Lucy & Emilia. They are the only team who has improved on every single leg. ;)
7. Sticky and Sam helped the cops at the rugs for about 45 minutes, what do you think about that?
If anything, it was a smart strategic move. Sticky & Sam were at no risk at all in the battle for elimination, with two teams struggling four hours behind, so it was a smart move to make an ally. They also actually lost no time, because they still got to the Intersection third and had to wait for Joseph & Grace to show up anyway, so they were not disadvantaged at all by waiting, unless of course they had a chance to get to the Intersection ahead of Michelle & Jo, but it is unclear how far behind they were. It also shows just how nice people they are. I would never have expected the cops to give them the rug, first of all, let alone for Sticky & Sam to stay and help. It shows the amazing natures of both teams. :hearts:
8. Predict the finishing order of the remaining seven teams.
My prediction for Leg 7:
1. Michelle & Jo :hearts:
2. Joseph & Grace :hearts:
3. Paul & Steve :stare
4. Shane & Andrew :hearts:
5. James & Sarah :hearts:
6. Lucy & Emilia (bottomfeeding goddesses) :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:
7. Sticky & Sam :'( :'( :'(
