I think Phil has been instructed by doctors to wear protective headware from the sun. If there's any risk for skin cancer, that is often what patients are told by their doctors.
Until the last year or so, Phil may have had headwear on once or twice, but it looks as if the is wearing the summer hat whenever he has to wait for teams in direct sunlight. If its a location where he's not in direct sunlight, then he seems to not wear headgear.

I am actually glad they visited Indonesia again... but where is Philippines? :'(

It's so fun to see that they're visiting Indonesia again... :hearts: :hearts:
However, I think that they're doing legs in Java just too much.. I just don't like the way that they overused Java in 4 legs (TAR19 included)! There are OTHER areas in Indonesia other than the island of Java!
Why don't they visit Sumatra and it's beautiful Sianok Canyon or Lake Toba?? :duno:
Why don't they visit Bunaken National Park?? :duno:
Why don't they visit Bali, Lombok, or Komodo National Park?? :duno:
Why don't they visit the beautiful Raja Ampat Islands?? :duno:
You see, there are MANY areas in Indonesia other than Java! :tup: So, if they're going to Indonesia again in other seasons, I hope that they also visit other places other than Java.. ;)

yep during the first leg filming of season 21, I was in Thailand. Lady luck hates me
