Makes more sense to me from a travel standpoint than coming into Newark and having to cross over to Brooklyn, less complicated. Also thinking taxi drivers from JFK would be more familiar with the area.

Not to my knowledge. I'm pretty sure it is St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Don't know about the CBS studios but the Apple store is closer to Central Park, more like 58th/59th Street and 5th.
St. Patrick's Cathedral does sound about right...

TV Show Taping Schedule:
The Early Show tapes live Monday through Saturday at 7AM.
This TV show tapes on the plaza of the GM Building, located right by Central Park at Fifth Avenue and 59th Street.
