Stunned that so many votes for Kim after her backstabbing. She must exert some sort of power/influence that I just didn't see from my tv viewing :duno:

The jury didn't see it that way... and for the record, she did keep her promise of final three.
Ruth:
I think Kim played a fantastic game. There's just something about her that's really endearing. Definitely, she engineered many blindsides and could be seen as a back-stabber. But IMO, she didn't really promise those people anything. She looked them in the eye, told them they were safe, but that's about it. If we're talking about REAL alliances, she formed them with Sabrina and Chelsea right at the start, and took them both to the end. As for the rest, she did what she had to do. She's no Russell. Russell played a mean game. She played a strategic game. I mean, there must be a reason everyone has nice things to say about her, and everyone is able to trust her with their lives.
This is my favourite season by far, and probably one of the best cast ever. One of the more emotional seasons as well, I'd say. But I see the beauty in this season beyond the gameplay. We have Tarzan's love story, Kat's little secret, the real friendship between Kim and Chelsea, the graciousness of the jury, the class player in Kim... I really love this season. And there could be no better outcome. Three of my favourite players were the Final Three. Wow!
There's really a good balance this season. Kim's awesome game, even though she hurt a large number of people in the jury, she didn't do it in a mean way. And then we have a forgiving, gracious jury who're not a panel of sore losers. Hence, the best person really won, IMO. I'm really surprised at Kat and Alicia though. I thought that these two would give Kim hell after her voting them out. But they turned around, told Kim how much they respected her, and still voted for her. Jay as well, even though Kim really hurt him. Love love love the jury, love the winner!
I'm gonna say again I really love this season. I think Chelsea could win a season on her own. This season, she was just stuck to Kim and Kim outshone her. Great cast. Great winner. GREAT SEASON!!!!!
coolio:
According to CBS, Troy and Lief were the only ones to vote for Sabrina.
Kate04:
I didn't find Kim as endearing as you did, Ruth, I found her cold and calculating. I did, however find the jury very very endearing in their ability to forgive and forget. Ironic that the cold manipulator won but I think that in the end, that is what it probably takes if you don't have the social game of someone like Boston Rob or Sandra or Parvarti. To me she is a Russell who knows not to show her claws.
Let's put it this way: it would be fun to sit down to dinner with Rob or Sandra or Parvarti; I wouldn't waste the time on Kim.
I think one thing this season brought out in a major way for future seasons is: Be Careful Who You Trust!! Too many people trusted her and were backstabbed. One internet site called this season "Kim's World - SO true".
