That is a private video, if they want to share with us, I am sure they will.

As I have said several times, we are working on a way to watch AND understand, so please be patient, thanks!

I enjoyed the premiere!  It's nice to add another version to The Amazing Race family, even with the language barrier!

I really hated that airport elimination  (:;) but I love the concept of finding the tickets in one of four locations.  The race to the different locations was pretty intense!  I would have preferred the last team receiving a Speedbump or some sort of penalty rather than elimination though.  It was nice to see a Roadblock, Detour, and some Route Infos on the first leg!  Oh, and no pitstop greeter.  :(

Overall, the cast seems pretty great so far.  I really like Martha & Elise but their performance on this leg was dismal.  They were at the bottom of the pack, if not in last, for the majority of the leg.  For a second, I though Martha (Martha & Elise) was going to have a Mika-moment at the Leap of Faith!  Hopefully they can recover on the next leg!

As a long time follower of The Amazing Race US, being from Norway, I found it exciting but also odd to see a Norwegian version of the show.

I mean, who could have believed that little Norway would be able to find the resources and will for the (so far) first European version of the magnificent tv-series. Certainly not me, so all respect to the producers. Remember, they don't have the budget success that the US version has gained, so I guess that's why the first leg winners didn't get any prizes. TV2 says that if the first season is successful, they might produce a new one next year. It all depends on viewer interest and ratings.

Still, I found it very strange sometimes to watch this. I'm so used to Phil, and english speaking contestants, that I often times rolled my eyes in annoyance of small details happening during the episode. I'm not saying it was a bad show, it was certainly refreshing and different, but compared to the us version it was missing the special 'ooomph' I'm so accustomed to.

It was actually funny to see how Freddy dos Santos, the host, reacted to being a host for a tv show instead of a soccer player. He did remarkably well, though he didn't have the empaty on the pitstop mat as Phil often has. Freddy was more like 'yay-I'm-on-a-world-trip-with-my-new-found-buddies,-high-five' sort of thing
This was the impression I got, and it was pretty funny actually. This is not criticism, but personal observation.

I'm looking forward to Monday for a new episode, and I'm sure many of you are waiting in anticipation for a new fresh episode you won't understand a word of until subtitles are ready  :yess:  :hoot:

Ya'all need to go learn a new language just for this series

Have fun with the new member of The Amazing Race family. I know I will

Watched it (language differences aside), so far so good. The host was awesome.
The editing could use some improvement though.
I just have one complaint: Production people, cameramen, etc. are everywhere in the background. :umn:

Watched it without subtitles, know i'm gonna do it again because i did not understood a thing :D. But so far, so good. The episode had some good moments and bad. First of all that i swa was the fact that the episode was over 1 hour long. I thought, that was awesome, no 45 min episodes - but after watching the whole thing, i can easilly remove at least 30 minutes, because the editing was focused at teams, and in my opinion it should be focusing about the race. The beginning should be cut at least in half because talking, talking, talking was BORING. But then when the teams were in their destination, i thought that the race would be beginning - i was mistaken. I mean it could be the fact that i haven't understood a thing, but till the monorail the race was not abut racing eachother, just "enjoying the view". I mean seriously two last teams with the possibility of elmination, instead of searching for a driver they are talking politely with eachother. Are you serious? Another thing that i can blame the editors, was the lack of dynamics. In the first half of the episode i wasn't feeling the "Race" vibe.

Host is good, takes his job seriously. Was good to see Dubai, even if that was 3/4 of a copy of the American version of the leg. And i am waiting for more ;-).
