So, I ofcourse watched the show! I think it was a good opening, although the roadblock and one side of the detour was lame...The routemarkers was great I think. Some teams weren't shown as much as others but that may be because they seem a bit boring...
Viewers: 388 000 - 465 000. TV2 is pleased, and few turned the show off, and almost everyone turned on their TV again after news, sports and weather which split the program in two. That's a good sign! It also have had lots of positive reviews in newspapers and internett forums and on facebook.

Here's the results at the end of Leg 1:
Show contentKenneth & Hakan eliminated at airport due to arriving last and no tickets left.
After reaching the top floor of Burj Khalifa, the world tallest building to get next clue, the pistop for this leg of the race was Burj Park in downtown Dubai
Pitstop results:
1st - Karim & Khabat (no express pass was given and no prices for winners of the leg)

4th - Morten & Truls
5th - Pål Christian & Ivar

8th - Frank & Ivar
9th - Kari & Bjørn (Originally 4th place, but aquired 1 hour penalty for not taking "abra boats" to the clue)

lol, I watched it in norwegian despite not knowing a single word. It's an interesting way to watch, but honestly I got nothing. I'm hoping for a link to an English subtitled version.
it really is a strange way to watch, I relied on watching what people were doing to figure out the task (that's pretty easy) and as for what teams were thinking, I looked at facial expression and tone of voice.
but seriously, we need a english subtitled version

There is the occasional english dialogue, but I rely monstly on body language and tone. I already like the twins Frank and Ivar.
On the foreign version itself, it's actually pretty intense at times, I'm genuinely impressed. The editing is sub-par but it's tenseful and I wonder what it would be like if I could understand.
I like a lot of the differences, for example the music, it's less traditional and more like movie music. It really makes some parts seem like a movie (like the first elimination)
