TAR 20 EP 8 "Let Them Drink Their Haterade" (Lake Manyara, Tanzania)

Now that I know from the telecast that the site of the beekeeping ROADBLOCK is Margaret's Farm, I went searching on the Internet for instances tying those together. There aren't any except for the ones that have popped up after the telecast. The only references I found to Margaret's Farm are to coffee.

Check out GIBB's Farm and see if you think it could be a match:

Peach,
My research on Gibbs Farm indicates that it has 2 major components:
1. high-end accommodations for those going to Ngorongoro Crater for safaris
2. a working farm, but I see no evidence that beekeeping is included in that
I think there's a reasonable chance that the teams went there to sleep during their pit stop as it's close to Lake Manyara.

That is probably the right farm. The bees are used to polinate the coffee plants. The honey production is a secondary product. Bees are used to polinate nut and fruit farms and vegetable crops. When that phase of crop growing is finished, the hives are moved to new places. Coffee plants are sensitive to sunlight, so coffee is planted under taller foliage. In central America, coffee plants are planted beneath banana trees/plants. The bees will polinate both species of plants.
