There is an alternate possibility, which is for what you are referring to as 2 NELs to be combined into one TBC (To Be Continued) spread over 2 episodes. My guess is that this would happen with 2 episodes in Kenya.

Yes, you're quite right. I was undoubtedly projecting that these legs ought to be in Kenya but Tanzania is about equally good.
