There are in fact 3 borders that are worth thinking about. West of Cafayete is the border with Chile. North and east is the border with Paraguay. There are 9 border crossings, all involving the Rio de La Plata or the Uruguay River, between Uruguay and Paraguay. However, there are no majestic mountains or plateaus anywhere near any of the Uruguay crossings. Majestic mountains will only be available near Chile or near Paraguay.
I admit that having CBS list Episode 2 as Buenos Aires indicates that that is where the next episode is. We have heard about an infamous 18 hour bus ride (I have thought prior to today that it was for sure Salta to Buenos Aires).
However, how do you explain the separate photos of 2 males that are somewhere in the pile of information available on AR20? I would truly like to know.

The "run for the border" stuff may be just CBS hot air. It looks like the donkey run is at Quebrada de Cafayate (also called Quebrada de las conchas) north of town on the road to Salta (photo source; click the second photo to enlarge). I also found a map of the area (again, click the second photo): it seems they'll pass through Santa Barbara again.

CBS has released a new clip for Episode 2 featuring Bopper & Mark and Brendon & Rachel. They're setting up a solar panel at "Solar Panel Location #3" and it looks like they have to boil a kettle of water too.
