Vanessa's role was pretty obvious from the start really, but it was a limited role so I think they kept in the race too long.

Hindsight is 20/20. What I think would have been really interesting was Phil's pre-race assessment from mid-November.

I'd like to know if he does this BEFORE the race or just BEFORE the show? He was way off on Misa and Maiya so it is possible it is filmed earlier.

I think it was before the show as he was talking about things that occurred at/during the starting line (Vanessa/Ralph on the bikes, teams actions towards Brendan/Rachel while standing there, etc).
