I love seeing every single destination that the race goes to, so I know that they won't or even can't disappoint me there. But I hate the direction that the cast takes nowadays. It's purely for ratings, and I'm sure if CBS had their way, they'd have the entire cast made up of Big Brother/Survivor/Jersey Shore 'characters'.

It's fair enough when they are interesting and begin to develop their own stories. But case in point, the finish line of Season 11 was just embarrassing with the amount of camera time that Rob (of Rob & Amber) got, despite being one of the eliminated teams.

I definitely get a bad vibe with this cast. I moaned about last year's too, but I knew that there would be at least one team I'd enjoy. I just don't see it this season.

Hang in there. I find it impossible to tell who I will or won't like from the cast reveal. Some I doubted have gone on to be favorites!

When I saw TAR 7 and TAR 9's cast.. I wasn't impressed.

TAR 7 turned out to be fine and with a few favourites till today.

But TAR 9 remained... to be.... ew.

For TAR 16, I knew I'll like Steve and Allie and Jody and Shannon and they still turn out to be the only teams I like from that season.

There's some teams from this season that I know I'll like... but some I know I'll hate...

Flamant:
Am I the only one not yet liking this season? The cast is not really likeable; most of them make me think of TAR16. There are yet again two dominating teams. The locations are awesome but most of the tasks are lame. Build a small gingerbread house? Rappel down (again)? Curling? The simulator last episode? Build a small solar cooker? Washing a statue or a real person? Really? They are all pretty easy, not intense, and most of them dosen't showcase the scenery and the culture. The moments I prefer now are between the tasks, where they go to castles, museums and old cities, where the tasks should be.
But what I like are the return of more than one FF, and :meow: between teams
