:lol3: I can't believe Asuncion was true after all.

DavidJunior:
I'm just happy that so far it looks as tho I'm 3/3 with my predicted TAR 20 route  :hearts:

--- Quote from: DavidJunior on September 10, 2011, 06:51:22 PM ---Here's my two cents:

Leg 1: New York City, U.S.A. to Buenos Aires, Argentina
Leg 2: Buenos Aires to North-West Argentina
Leg 3: Salta, Argentina to Asuncion, Paraguay
Leg 4: Paraguay to Rome, Italy to Vatican City
Leg 5: Rome to Pompeii/Naples/Capri, Italy
Leg 6: Naples, Italy to Riga, Latvia
Leg 7a: Riga, Latvia to Nairobi, Kenya
Leg 7b: Kenya
Leg 8: Nairobi, Kenya to Male, Maldives
Leg 9: Male, Maldives to Christchurch, New Zealand
Leg 10: Christchurch, New Zealand to Chengdu, China
Leg 11: Sichuan, China
Leg 12: Chengdu, China to Vancouver, Canada to Seattle, U.S.A.

Note: I took out a lot of details (why I thought TPTB would/should go to these locations and so on and so forth (aka extra, unneeded info for this post)

Just switch Leg 1 and 2 around and we have our current SPECULATED route (I did get the starting line wrong tho, was too hopeful for a throwback start I guess...  :( )

I doubt the entire route will come true, but I think a couple of those places are likely/overdue for a visit

David Jr.:

My first comment is that you have misplaced the above post in this thread. it really belongs in AR20 Wish Lists.

Second, one of your legs involves huge backtracking of many thousands of miles (a minimum through connections of 7692 miles). Why didn't you position your Chengdu legs before Christchurch rather than afterwards? It's much easier to fly Christchurch to Auckland to YVR (3 nonstops/week)  than it is to fly Chengdu to Vancouver (many double connections) and World Race Productions typically does not want super-overtired F3 teams.

I did that because the race course usually involves 1 to 2 abnormalities in its route (a small or large loop, zig-zag pattern, large amounts of backtracking, etc), so I thought this would be a perfect area to do it (similar to S5 India-New Zealand-Philippines), and honestly didn't  take the flights into account for that section of the race.

Lexie:
If so, it seems to me they've decided to hide the filming as best they can by not having things out where signs and clue boxes can be seen when teams are not in the vicinity (more than just covering up clueboxes, but using other containers that blend in).

But how does one hide Rachel and Brenden?  As much as I learned to like Rachel during her second season of BB (and only after Brenden was evicted a second time), watching the two of them together is painful.  Brenden treats her horribly.  Think a few years back to Victoria and her abusive husband.
