That wouldn't change much for Brenchel if they won... they would have their Big Brother money to spend while making plans with the knowledge that twice as much is coming within a few months.

They get paid when they do a guest appearance on a soap opera, or other types of celebrity appearances.
And there may be other things we just don't know about yet having nothing to do with TAR. And the housing market is southern California, as in some other real estate markets hit hard by the mortgage market collapse, means that deals can be found even as the market continues to recover, slowly.

Unfortunately, in that area (UCLA/Westwood) even in the current depressed market, for a small 2 bedroom 1,000sq. ft. condo or apartment, a "deal" is several hundred thousand dollars to half a million or more. :groan: Housing in that area was outrageously unaffordable before the crash... now it's just ridiculously expensive.
