“Super Shady” (Copenhagen, Denmark) – The Race travels to Copenhagen for the first time, where one Racer learns the meaning of two left feet and a double U-turn jeopardizes team positions in the Race, on THE AMAZING RACE, Sunday, Nov. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  Emmy Award nominee Phil Keoghan is the host.

CHEAT TWEET: Bunnies, butter, dancing & a double u-turn. This is what #AmazingRace is all about! 11/13 at 8pm ET/PT

Amani & Marcus missed a flight

In Copenhagen, drive your own car and go to Vor Frelsers Kirke church. Go up the spiral stairs to get a clue. Hours of Operation Equalizer

DOUBLE U-TURN: at the windmill

Pitstop: Larsen's Plads near the Havet ship. It's an elimination leg. 6 teams remain. Who will be eliminated next?

north09:
Anyone else find it interesting the new promo doesn't even mention the Double U-Turn?

Now the main flight we think most of the teams went was from Lilongwe to Lusaka to Nairobi to Amsterdam to Copenhagen.

Assumption 1: Marcus/Amani was with everyone else until Amsterdam, then got stuck.
Not likely. There are some six flights from Amsterdam to Copenhagen before the sun even rises the next day.
Assumption 2: Marcus/Amani was with everyone else until Nairobi, then got stuck.
Not likely. Even if they missed the Amsterdam flight, there was a London flight that would have got them in before sunrise.
Assumption 3: Marcus/Amani was with everyone else until Lusaka, then got stuck.
Not likely. It's a through-flight from Lilongwe to Nairobi. No reason why they can get tickets on the first leg but not the second.

What if Assumption 1 is likely with them being forbidden to take a pre-determined airline? That could get them stuck for a while.

So, the thing is: were they ahead and then bunched? Or where they bunched and then missed a flight?

Chateau d If:

--- Quote from: Neobie on November 10, 2011, 01:41:39 AM ---It's not even a certainty that Marcus/Amani will not arrive at the tower before it opens! One flight they could have taken arrived at 8.20am, the other at 9.28am. If the tower opened at 10.00am as it usually does, they wouldn't be that far behind at all, if at all.

--- End quote ---

I found out that they had to wait until 7:30 am to enter the church.
