Dutch Mole - New series with English subtitles!

Hi SuperTux!
To answer your questions respectively: :)

1. Yes there are clues about the identity of the Mole hidden in the series. They are revealed in the last episode in the Mole-reveal when all the sabotages are discussed as well. It's usually just 3 or so minutes of the airtime and often the hints are explained more elaborately on the official website due to it only being for the group of die-hard fans discussing them and looking for them by analyzing every bit of the episodes.  :lol3: (and trust me they do, that is in no way an exaggeration..  )

The hints vary a lot. We've had 12 series now so sometimes they involve the leader/ intro, sometimes they are interwoven with the country and culture they are visiting (eg in Mexico there was a clear hint related to the Maya calender). Sometimes they are quite intricate and complex/fun yet sometimes they are a bit lame imo. A mixed bag really.

You never really know where to look for them but usually they present a pattern. Last year we had a hint in the titles too. eg one title was called 'Land Ahoy' and the Mole had to make a picture of the flag of Nicaragua.  :)

2. This year we also have clues about the next person to get executed (that's not always the case).
It isn't in the show itself though, but in the for of musical hints. So it's a bit ambivalent because it can be interpreted in different ways, but it's a clue anyway.  :)

If you like I can put them up here too.  :)

3. There is kind of a test but it's not the test the contestants take I think on the official website. It's in Dutch though.  ;)
I would recommend you not to watch before you watch the episode here though because it will contain spoilers about the person who was executed.  :)

So.. Do you guys have any lead suspects yet? :sab

SuperTux:
I suspect William now.

An update!  :)
The one minute preview and promo/teaser for episode 4!

Seems like:
1.They are going to an abandoned airfield/ airport for a challenge.
2.They'll be diving in very cold watersinvolving 'youth' (?) pix.
3. There will be tough negotiations and a 'devilish dilemma' to make and decide on for their 'sunny' future.  ;)
(i.e. another,sunnier, country?? Hopefully  :lol3: )

***The Following May Contain Spoilers Till EP3***
Suspect: William (from my observation)

EP1
Arrival: 1) Most contestants' intros came right concomitantly with their arrival except William. William appeared and talked a lot in the show before Annie-Marie did, but his intro came after hers.
           2) He talked about the suspicious "pole" to pursuade Annie-Marie. ???

Find the Money Container: I think it was HIM who found the container with minus money. When he found the container he rocked it and sneakily said, "I think I got an exemption."

Exemption Contention: William was in pair with Dio by that time. Marit surrendered, but what the heck were William and Dio doing? Searching for the jokers? :lol3: Dio were eliminated, so we know... :sab

EP2:
In video part 1 Frits said, "Just one thing is for sure about the Mole... William is totally nuts." I think it came out weirdly...

Go up the stairs: William said he was the first one suggesting the first one staying in his/her own place should be the most suspicious one, but by contrast he said whether she (Annie-Marie) stayed first didn't matter much to him. ??? And he went all way to confuse others' calculation. He made a great mistake there, remember.

Smoke Code: William didn't show the code clearly as Liesbeth and Marit did.

EP3:
Joker or Envelop: I think William knew the first envelop contained something different.

A Tour round the City: Only Tim and William thought Marit was lying.

In recent episodes he tried to convince the viewers that he wanted to put more money in the pot, and he said Frits was the Mole. If Frits really was, it was stupid of the producer to show it so early.

But it seems that almost nobody on Youtube agrees with me that William is the Mole... :groan:

P.S. I learned that Hadewych wasn't allowed to go on the riverjet because she was 5 weeks pregnant at the time (she found out one dat before they left for Iceland.

 :lol3:

Yeah that was me commenting on it because she sent a tweet saying she wasn't allowed to due to being 5 weeks pregnant.
She's now still anxiously awaiting the baby to come, poor thing.  :hrt:

Just thought I would mention it in case people wondered why she wasn't on that riverjet.

But there are a few people who do agree with you though (on another forum) wrt William. I'm afraid I don't for now though.
If anyone can pull his tactics off it would be William indeed, and honestly I would love him to be!!  :hearts:

My main objection is that he would take away a joker from a contestant as a Mole. That may not seem big but to me it's kind of a no-no.
Nonetheless there is nothing conclusive to say he isn't and he'd make a great Mole!
