I think a small building in wat phra kaew is very possible too kiki but I can't find it there either. It has the redroofed building and the other temples but...

I am wondering if this is somewhere TAR has been before? The would not have had much time to arrange for new film permits...so perhaps they are reusing an old one as a starting place to go on?? ???

If it helps searching, I think it's the ubosot or ordination hall. The different temple elements are pictured here.

My only concerns with it being part of a complex in the middle of the city is that we can see on the far right of the screen a rather large hill, something I don't think Bangkok has too many of..
