I was in nearby Krabi a few months ago, and it was bizarre that every wave brought in loads of tiny pieces of coral. Apparently this is due to the practise of dynamite fishing, which completely destroys any nearby coral reefs. Its not as widely practised now, and I think it may even have been outlawed, but broken coral still washes ashore on every beach!

What's with the "FORMER NFL STAR" in the preview every week. It's getting frustrating. I tend to think that it's Railay Beach too. But Thailand has got loads of small islands and they're all beach paradise and you can't be sure?

The detour locations could be anywhere, there'd be thousands of locations that could fit. The roadblock could be one of a few places. The only place we know for certain is Ko Panyi, the Muslim village on stilts.
