They offer an all day charter and will probably serve as the taxis for the day as they seem to get to the RB and the Detour on them

I think at least the roadblock and maybe the detour as well are around the peninsula known as Railay Beach. It would require the speedboat trip and has great rock climbing locations that look a lot like the ones in the preview.

The Amazing Race has been in the area before. AR1 went to Railay Beach (I have seen 4 different spellings used) in episode 10. There was the famous ROADBLOCK to climb "the King" which is above Railay Beach. Amazing Race Asia 1 had a ROADBLOCK episode 8 to climb Railay East 123 Wall. Here is a little tourist info on Railay Beach:
The beaches and stunning cliffs of Railay Beach are certainly worth a day trip, even if you don't stay there. Divided into Railay East and West, the former offers the best rock-climbing cliffs, situated next to mud flats. The West has the sort of soft powdery sands that attract beach bunnies, though longtails dock right here and the resulting noise of the motors can ruin the peacefulness of the gorgeous cerulean sea.
