Found this on the official website in regards to applications
An open audition will be held in Shanghai in early Janurary. Those unable to attend may also upload an application video on youku.com. (Title format: The Amazing Race China Rush Season 3 Application Video + contestant name). Then, send the video link to chinarush@icshanghai.com. Recruitment info will be updated at weibo.com/chinarush and our official website www.chinarush.cn. Good luck!
The Youku route seems like another way you can apply to be on the show if you can't get the Shanghai for open auditions or email the video to them.
