I'm surprised that they've included this rule without specifying that it must be a Chinese driving license. As I recall, they were forced to make a last minute change of a couple of teams for Season Two due to confusion as to the driving laws!

Yes...I hope this season they can bring a really self-driving leg rather than doing one task.

Chinese driving lisence dn't request nationality(you can fina Jan drive in CR2),but I think only one who live in China will need it...as I know the team who got replaced last season tried to pass driving test at the last minute,but failed...

But what if both members doesn't live in China? Can they still apply?

I think you can try to ask by sending a email to  chinarush@icshanghai.com...Rick and Josh are both from Australia when they apply CR1.
