Just a head's up that the Emmy nominations are being announced tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 8:30 am EDT/5:30 a.m. PDT.

The Emmy noms are out and TAR is nominated in 7 categories including the big two for series and host.  These are the same 7 categories they were nominated in last year, which was also the first time TAR went home with ZERO Emmys.

TAR's nominations:
Outstanding Reality-Competition Program
Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program
Outstanding Cinematography for Reality Programming
Outstanding Directing for Nonfiction Programming
Outstanding Picture Editing for Reality Programming
Outstanding Sound Editing for Nonfiction Programming (Single or Multi-Camera)
Outstanding Sound Mixing for Nonfiction Programming

Reality competition: CBS’ “The Amazing Race,” Fox’s “American Idol,” ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,”  Lifetime’s “Project Runway, Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance,” Bravo’s ”Top Chef.”

Host for reality competition: Tom Bergeron for “Dancing With the Stars”; Cat Deeley for “So You Think You Can Dance”; Phil Keoghan for “The Amazing Race”; Jeff Probst for “Survivor”; Ryan Seacrest for “American Idol.”
