Casting seems to ba more ongoing than before, even though the deadline has passed there are still open auditions.

Casting directors for CBS “The Amazing Race” are coming to Las Vegas!
Do you have what it takes to out maneuver and out race other teams? CBS’s “The Amazing Race” is now looking for teams of 2 to compete on the very popular reality competition show that challenges contestants to race around the world and be the first team at the final destination. The winning team at the end of the show will get 1 million dollars and the losing teams all get to go home along the way.
Come tryout for an adventure of a lifetime and a trek around the world.
An open casting call has been announced for Las Vegas
Las Vegas residents and those living in the Vegas area can come on down and meet with casting directors in Las Vegas on June 22, 2012.

THE AMAZING RACE is a seven-time Emmy Award-winning adventure reality series hosted by Emmy-nominated host Phil Keoghan, which pits teams, each comprised of two members, against each other on a trek around the world. At every destination, each team competes in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical, and only when the tasks are completed do they learn of their next location. Teams who are the farthest behind are gradually eliminated as the competition progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning $2 million.
